Require some help....

I have been booked to supply entertainment for a "Eid Al-Fitr Al-Mubarak Party " the eqivilent to our Christmas celibration.

I am the first English D.J. to have been asked to do this and for that reason alone i am honoured to have been asked but don't want to mess it up.

The client has provided me with C.D.s and a running order and a small crash course in Arabic to make some anouncments and i so want to get this right so not to offend them.

Which leads me to my plee for help, has anybody any experience in these events and if so could you provide me with some tips on how to make this a good night for my clients.......

Sorry havent done any of these, you could try finding a cleric at a local mosque to give you some enunciation lessons. Only a suggestion but I did similar when I had to do a Jewish wedding.

Try the place at Cobridge.
Can't remember if its a mosque or just a muslim place - but they may be able to help.
