Hi all.
Just a quick note on this venue, had a wedding there and while its a great middle sized room it has a dreaded sound limiter. I dont normally have a problem with these and this one is your standard box on the wall progressing through Green, Amber and then Red, too long on red and power goes off.
Thats fine, just watch it and make sure you trim the bass off a bit if it starts hitting the Red......Well you could if you could see it, its mounted behind the bar up by the ceiling and even kneeling on the floor where you are set up, walking in front of the gear, standing in the middle of the dance floor, you just can not see it. The only way to see it is to walk over the other side of the room to the bar.
Not a lot of good really as you just can not monitor the lights so its a case of keeping your fingers crossed or the volume set low as we all know how when the punters start singing........Off it goes :rolleyes:
