I get the feeling the phrase "cheap cheap" is going to rule out any booth suggestions!!

I use an American DJ 4ft deckstand with overhead lighting bar and a plain cloth frontage. Available from just about everywhere but I got mine from Thomann. It isn't the best deckstand in the world (cue the Ultimax debate) but it does what I want it to do (apart from when it's about half an inch too tall to fit on the stage in a local venue!).

After a quiet year so far, once my new advertising kicks in (hopefully!) and the diary starts to get some decent bookings added to it I'll be going down the Ultimax road myself. Hopefully in the new year!

Gonna stick my head in the noose now..........................and not the answer you are looking for but...........

Buy cheap, buy twice , an old saying that I guess most people on here have fallen for.
Depending on your budget.

Ultimax , Ultimax or Ultimax........:p

Aux rail and a front cloth.

Auxiliary rail (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTIMAX-UMAC001-AUXILIARY-RAIL-WITH-2-x-32mm-CASTINGS-for-DJ-STANDS-180-943-/231010874631?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Stands_Supports&hash=item35c9523507)..

Ultimax 4 ft stand with overhead.

Might be expensive on outlay , but it last for years , and you can add to the system as required.
( PS , make your own shelves , much cheaper)

Cheers

Daryll's right in every respect, but:

if cost really is a limiting factor, all the others work, they're just not as good as , as nice as, or with the same backup as Ultimax.
