Hey All, long time no post. But I'm now a daily lurker.

Some of you may remember me, some may not.

I want to start building a DJ iPad companion app, I have a few ideas but I'd love to get any feedback from people who are really in the industry as to what you'd like to see in a DJ Planner app - and whether you'd like an app at all?

1) What would you like to see in the app
2) Assuming you liked the app and wanted it, how much would you pay for it?

When the app is released I'll be giving anyone who helps a promo code for a free download.

I think it could potentially be a really good idea, there are a number of things to take into consideration here are some that come to mind:

You would need different planners for different types of events E.G Weddings, Birthdays, ETC as the information that we would require is radically different for each and there is no such thing as a standard event.

one very important thing we would need as part of the app is Pre show Play and DO NOT paly list

We also need information about things like the guest of honor E.G B&G at a wedding and Birthday Boy/Gril at a birthday etc.

I am sure there is a lot more and I post more as I think of them

Not quite sure what you're trying to create?

DJ planner app?

So...an app for running your DJ business or a form with music and other random party details in?

If the former then there are already web-apps out there that do this and the latter...something I do already with Bento 4 for iPad.

Unless i've missed the point?
