I dont think we are far off. Todays tech would have been unimaginable 15-20 years ago. After all they put a man on the moon with less tech than is just in an iPhone :)

When the software can drop 'Remember You're A Womble' in the middle of a Northern Soul set and mix out of Suede's Metal Mickey into The 5th Dimension's Aquarius and get away with like I did a while ago then I'll be impressed....however good these computers are they can't take the place of an unhinged mind :daft:

They will contune to get better and better though. We could soon have a judgement day on our hands lol

2 big issues I can see with an idea like this:

Cost - to put all of that together would cost a fortune - the only clubs likely to be able to afford it would be your supers which rely heavilly on big name DJs drawing punters in. Is anyone going to pay £30+ a skull to go into a club and let a jumped up itunes genius do the business? I don't think so.

It sounds like moving pavements we should all apparently be using to get around on by now - I can see the odd club try it out in Japan or the like but for a real world application it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off.
