Ok a simple one.

In the process of rebranding my website, and would appriciate some thoughts and input!

Please look at the below three websites, the top one is mine (a dummy mockup at the moment) and the other two are example of (IMO) nice quality sites.

http://www.surreydj.co.uk/

But I would be keen to hear your thoughts, so I can go in the right direction, or rather send my web designer that way!!!

Many thanks :) :beer1:

I prefer your old ones.

The new one looks like dozens of other disco sites out there.

Why thank you...

BUT
I have to move with the times though and the old one wasn't getting me any work. This one is being build for on the word press platform so it will be better for SEO, and this also means I can get behind the backend of the site and change stuff easily without the need to HTML knowledge
(which isn't my forté) :daft::confused:

:D

Not necessarily true, in fact the best SEO is often achieved with no CMS so that you can get right down into the nitty gritty on a per page level.

That said, there are some very good SEO plugins for Wordpress and if you have no HTML experience at all then that may be the best option for you.

For advertising weddings and parties I think your new site looks the best out of all of the sites.
All new websites do look fairly similar, I think it's better to look like you fit in with the modern websites rather than stick out as an old one.

SEO wise you have far more flexibility sticking to RAW html and building it yourself. A friend of mine has a template style website and moans that he can't figure out how to add certain things like making a word a h1 or h2 tag which can have an impact on SEO, I think wordpress is a bit more friendly in that sense but it'll come with restrictions as you can imagine.
