That's one crazy smell!!

Hello just bought some brand new ev elx115p never bought new before but thought I'd better start now.

Unboxed my speaker and I got a STRONG! Smell of weed!!

It's been 4 weeks now and it's stinking my bedroom out! God know what's gonna happen next Saturday night when I got a 50th birthday to do they'll think I'm some weed head!!

Then done abut if reading around and aprently it's the paint they use, but what I wanna know is how can I get rid of this smell fast and what can I do to as to storing them to make it go? Anything?

Have you checked that there isn't any left in the speaker?

Got a gig tonight so bombing down motorway with windows down hhahahaha freezing nuts off haha doubt it will do out but I've even thought of sticking a air freshner on it, these speakers are aprently known for this for this problem, love to get pulled by police tonight, you been smoke weed!.....no officer it's my speakers.... Hahaha

Where were they stored previously? I've had a storage area affected with Mice before, and their wee smells both rank, strong and on occasion a bit like Weed.
I can't imagine that weed itself would "cling" to a speaker for that long, unless there was actually some there. Mouse wee on the other hand....reeks.
