Ev elx 115p sound system

Hello purchased the ev elx115p speakers on the back on the system it has a master gain level that I will set to full, underneath that there is a input gain level can the level on that be set on full or do I have to bring the volume back to say 12 or 1 o'clock??

Just been doing some research on optimising gain structure before a gig to get best sound, and it gone in one ear and out of the other!!! Any simple explanations haha

Looking at the spec
The unit has two seperate inputs with individual Gains
I would set you input gain at about 12' oclock and see how it sounds!
