Hi there and thanks ... well basically im a single Mum with dead end jobs .. im self employed at the moment due to an accident and now seems im un employable ... pah!! ..lol

Anyway im wanting to set up a mobile dj business seen as im already self employed and im absolutely crazy i think i qualify for the role ...lol.

What im looking into is what type of legal licenses i need etc as i have a good database of music which is digital but i also have discs and i have all the equipment i need i just dont want to get my back side spanked for not knowing the rules and regulations and what i need to legally buy ... oh yes all my music is legal not net downloads or anything although some originals have been pinched by former friends etc ....<growl>

Any advice to a newbie dummie would be very much appreciated ... i am trying to read all the site too ...lol

Thanks Pixie

Oh yeah and im in Yorkshire

... oh yes all my music is legal not net downloads

Just to make it clear that you can download legally from the net.

What I assume you are talking about is illegal file sharing sites etc?
