Do you click google ads?

Whenever I am searching the internet, For some reason I always scroll to below the ads at the top to find what I'm looking for. This got me thinking is this what most people do?, like a subconcious thing to avoid advertising. If so then paying to be at the top of searches could actually be detrimental.
Do many of you skip the ads? and how many pay google to be at the top and do you find it worth it?

Yep any sponsored links as they have paid to get there and are not organic. :)

It definatly wouldn't have a negative impact, if you pay for ads at the top it doesn't remove your organic results.

When you aren't on the first page of google or not even close it's very handy. People may skip it but they would have never known if you didn't pay so it's all good.
