I played Postman Pat at a wedding this summer. It was requested by the grooms parents as the groom was a postie, they even rang me a couple of weeks beforehand to make sure i had it!

If you're doing a Halloween Kids party, have a look on iTunes or napster fr the version of it that the Ghastly ones did for the Halloween episode (Sponge Bob Scaredy Pants)

Why http://smilies.vidahost.com/contrib/sarge/Looking_anim.gif , I found it whilst looking for some of their proper stuff. I already knew it existed form their website, so I knew what it was when I saw it.

I think unless it's for very young children when you need stuff like "One finger one thumb" & if you're happy & you know it" you can get away mainly charty stuff.

Most of the "best kids album in the world ever ever ever" type albums seem to have a mix of the really old "Classics" - "You're a pink toothbrush", "I tawt I taw a puddytat" etc that most youngsters won't know & kiddie pop from the charts at the time of it's release which tend to have a short shelf life & as such I think albums of this type are a waste of time.

Don't forget the Hokey cokey, that always goes down well with kids (until they become teens http://smilies.vidahost.com/contrib/sarge/Disappointed_anim.gif )

Read the thread title Steve.

What children's tunes do you play at gigs, not what do you play at childrens parties!

Would depend on your defintion of childrens tunes I occasionally end the night with Roobab & Custard, the Banana Splits or the Hair Bear Bunch, but I'd say these are classed more as TV themes than kids tunes.

One of our old DJs used to play "the wheels on the bus" quiet a bit, I don't think I play any childrens songs at adult gigs unless you count S Club 7, Steps etc, etc......
