Deck Shelf Material

Hi all,

can anyone please reccomend material for covering my deck shelves?

I have had a look on the auction sites but I really don't know what is the best stuff to purchase.

I'd go for speaker covering and impact adhesive ( Evostik and the like ). I got some from these lads (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2M-x-1-6M-CAR-SPEAKER-SUBWOOFER-BOX-CARPET-CLOTH-BLACK-/300589517993?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45fc880ca9) and it's good stuff. Check the sizes, as there may be different widths. They cut it off a huge roll, so you should be able to get as much or as little as you want.

I'm not saying it's the only answer, or the best answer, but it's an acceptable answer. Hope this helps.

I got ready-made deckstand shelves by complete accident! My dad has one of those snap-and-click multi-position ladders and it came with two metal ladder platforms which fit my deckstand as shelves perfectly! They have curved edges that nicely fit the stand to hold them in place and stop them slipping. I think if I applied some sort of covering on them then dad would probably not be too chuffed so they're good for me as they are! ;)

I was surprised at just how good they fit! The ladder just gets used a set of funky shelves in the hallway anyway so I might as well make use of the platforms!
