Taking photos

Hi,

Those of you that take digital photos during the night, what setting do you use to get good pictures from behind the booth.

I am suffering from the flash removing the effect of my lighting or from turning of the flash and not picking up people. Can anyine suggest a happy medium.

If you can get a fast setting suitable for taking pictures of moving objects, you may be in luck.

The lights from your rig should illuminate the crowd sufficiently & the fast setting will eliminate motion blur on dancers, light beams etc.

That's what I've done in the past & had no problems. Obviously this could vary from one make & model to another, but you can always lighten the image on your computer after you've uploaded them.
