Hi all,

not sure if you have seen the new Grumpy Joe led "Commander" dancefloor but at over £16k even at hiring this baby out at £500 a go that's 32 hires before you get your money back.

Are there any others that do the same thing but for a smaller outlay.

I'm thinking it makes more commercial sense to go for a more conventional dancefloor as a better investment or are wooden dance floors "old Hat"?

You wouldn't be hiring out a floor like that at £500. Get in the right market! Seriously.

I hired out a 20 x 20 for £2250 in London a few months ago. (as a reseller)

The Grump Joe Commander Floor has been out a while now [Also had some issues when demo'd at BPM a couple of years ago] ...

And to add and as said above, you would not hire out that type of floor for £500 ... think along the lines of £1500 or higher!

yes you are absolutely right thinking about it.

It's all about the marketplace.

I guess think "cover the whole of the UK" aim high!!

Something to mull over while I am thinking of getting out of the DJ game and investing in something else, and like you say that level of investment would need to have a serious market available to tap in too.

Thank you for opening my eyes.
