Hello,
Wedding season is fast approaching us and I have quite a few gigs booked in larger function rooms with circa 300-400 guests.
I'm trying to think of the best way to position four speakers in larger venues without having unsightly (and dangerous) cables running all the way from one side of the room to another. So, I'm thinking that the best way of doing this would be to use some sort of wireless TV transmitter but obviously only use it for the audio side of things rather than video.
I've found this on ebay that seems to work on some sort of 5.8ghz bluetooth system. It also states that there is a 100 meter range, so in theory this would probably be fine for larger venues where I could position 2 speakers at the back of the room and 2 at the front.

The questions I have are:-
(1) Do you think this is a suitable product for what I'm wanting to acchieve? Or do I run the risk of getting sound break up/ interference etc on a crowded dance floor even if I place the transmitter/ receiver units high up from the ground.
(2) Is anyone else out there using a similar setup? If so then I'm wondering what sort of results are you getting?
(3) is there a better way of transmitting audio signals wirelessly around a venue.
I have found another product that seems more geared to musicians/ dj's that works on a UHF basis, but at £300 it's slightly outside my budget

Thanks in advance.
