Venue Needed

HI there. Help needed for those with a good knowledge of the Leavesden, Watford, Hemel, St Albans area. A friend is struggling to find a party venue with all the usual good attributes; numbers about 120. Ground floor, preferably everyone in one room and a bar. All suggestions welcomed. Thank you

Is Welwyn GC too far out?
Was most impressed with The Fairway in Welwyn - lovely function room with internal "marqee" style ceiling (at least when I was there), ground floor entry, bar in room. Didn't need a huge setup - in fact the ceiling was so low above the performance area I had to put lights on a t-bar in a separate corner. Some limited inbuilt lighting effects. Staff were superb too and food looked nice.
