Anyone recommend a quality supplier with competitive prices?. I've been buying of ebay up till now and the quality has really gone down hill lately. It also doesn't help that many of them don't sell in large quantities anymore either.

Thanks in advance guys :)

I remember Mike Moore (Mikeee ) mentioning a while back that he gets good quality ones in very large quantities (and if I remember correctly, he said he would gladly order up extras for anyone that wanted them..... but don't hold me to that one). It might be worth you giving him a shout if no-one else has any suggestions

I've bought a load of necklaces and sticks recently - remind me later and I'll dig out the invoice, as I can't remember the company:o

They were very reasonable to buy in bulk from.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Angela: Hopefully Mike will pop in and reply :)

Darren: That would be great. I'll remind you on the hour every hour :D

Dragonfly: Cheers for the links mate. Their bracelets work out to about 5p each and 7p each. It isn't a lot but up till now I've been getting them for around 2 and a half pence each when buying in large bulk quantities. I'm Scottish....which means the cheaper the better :D.

uk-disco appear to only sell them in quantities of 100's. I'm looking more for someone that can sell bulk quantities of up to 5000.

Thanks for the links though :)

I tend not to buy the 6" glowsticks as there's not enough profit margin for me..lol. Glow bracelets have proven to be the most profitable. I was buying 5000 glow bracelets for 2.5 pence each and selling them for 50p each. An initial outlay of around £125- could potentially bring in £2500.

I always end up giving away most of them for free anyway. There's certain youth gigs where I always sell them. Private functions I always give them away for free to all the kids in attendance.

I use these guys - http://www.glowsticksdirect.co.uk/

Last order i got about 300 bracelets for £20 all in. The first time I ordered you get 10% off vouchers for the next order, so if you're not in a rush it might be worth buying 100 to start with to get the voucher.. and then order 1000s when you have the discount!

Tony,

Poundland are quite good for this.
Last time I went it they had the inflatable guitars, and also 2ft inflatable microphones, plus packs of 30 glow bracelets.
I'll leave you to figure out what each item cost :D

sorry just noticed but we dont have flaming pound lands around here LOL I prefer selling 22" tri colour necklaces as well rather than bracelets made into one... I make better money and customers love them... I sell bracelets at 50 pence for 1 or 3 for a pound, necklaces at 2 pound each

Did you have a shop then? Otherwise, I'm not sure how Ebay squeezed you out? A dropshipper is a dropshipper, whether on Ebay or not.

I never had or wanted an ebay shop the margins for profit is way to small after there sale fees Hense there aint that many left on ebay even now. Dropshipping has limited appeal. I went onto double glazing for a year before getting more satisfaction doing disco's in my own business name
