I only know 4 of them! :Embarassed:OK - fair enough.... It might be useful to know which 4 (ie if someone did try any of them out at a gig, which ones might go down better because people remembered them)

The four were -

Men without hats - Safety dance
Human League - Fascination
B52s - Rock Lobster
M.A.R.R.S - Pump up the volume

Obviously i wasn't alive for most of the 80s though, so my knowledge is only based on my own research which would just be the popular well-known stuff.

I seem to have a complete blank on the 80 apart from Euro pop due to spending most of the 80's out in Germany - although London Boys seems to pop into my head for some wierd reason!

Assembly - Never,never:mad:

Certainly not forgotten to me :)

An aside to the Assembly. Back in the days of vinyl jukeboxes, I was in my local trying to enjoy a quiet pint. Some numpty obviously thought this track was the best thing since sliced bread, it came on every other song. It got to the point that I got up & left to go to the pub next door (that didn't have a jukebox). As I was on my way out I had to walk past the jukebox, just as Never never came on for what seemed like the millionth time. In one fluid movement I reached down & grabbed the coin return slot of the jukebox, lifted it about 6 inches & dropped it with a almighty thud & that lovely grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiippppp pt noise that a record makes when you knock the stylus across it. This was followed by one of the biggest cheers (from the other punters) that I've ever heard. I turned bowed & walked out.

The next time I went in Never never was nailed to the wall & I didn't have to pay for a drink all night.:D
