Hi all

I recently saw a really cool foldable laptop stand. It was being used by a DJ in one of the lounge bars on a cruise ship. I admired this from a distance but didn't like going up and asking as the DJ was busy doing his thing.

It was made out of machined aluminium and looked really sleek/slim, but it also looked pretty strong as the laptop wasn't wobbling at all whilst being used. It had a sort of squarish 'skeleton' profile and looked as though it would be pretty damn expensive. Anyone have a clue what i'm talking about? I'd love to track one of these down to find out the actual price rather than just guessing. I know it's not much to go on, but hey, I figured you were the guys to ask

Cheers

Was it a stanton uberstand that you saw?

Uberstand.

Greatalthough they are not too steady when up and could fall over when pushed as its only held by velcro, although mine never has.

Well, that's pretty close, although the actual bits the laptop stands on appeared to be flat and not bent rods as on the Stanton. Thanks for your help though :)

I'm really annoyed with myself now as I should have asked, or at the very least taken a picture. Ah well...

I think you have seen this - http://www.cranehardware.com/product_info.php/products_id/31

Brilliant stand and really durable. Got one a few months ago. Well worth that bit extra.

Apologies for the delay in replying. On further enquiries it would appear that the stand I saw was indeed the Stanton Uberstand :)

Many thanks for your replies and assistance though, it's very much appreciated.

Cheers
