I'm sure it's been done before I but can't find an answer.

Does anyone make or can anyone recommend some XLR speaker cables, are they better than mic cables is there any difference ?

Hi,

I know a mate of mine makes these types of cables. I'll DM you his number.

If you're talking about active speakers, then good mic cables are the norm. I believe some older passive Bose systems used to use XLRs (instead of jack plugs or speakons) but I'm not sure it's still common practice.

I make up XLR leads to order. Neutrik plugs and Klotz cable only. Message me if interested! :D

XLRs and Mic cables are the same thing.

XLR is the name of the 3 pin connector typically used for microphones. The actual cable used for microphone or signal is the same unless you've opted for DMX cables which worths for mics but mic cables don't work so well for DMX.

Anyways if you want cables I could make some up for you. However I only use Van Damme Cables and Neutrick connectors so might work out more expensive than you were hoping for.
