what for pro use or home use?

It looks kinda gimmicky to me, and not robust looking enough for professional use. Fine for the kiddies christmas but not for 'on the road use'.

what alternative would you guys suggest? Cal its the MkII that i was looking at which athough more expensive, takes care of the bugs in the first version

Well it does the job as an external controller but it is very MY FIRST CONTROLLER type thing... only difference is you cant buy it in the early learning center.

It's been around for along time as an option for virtual dj but you far better going for something like the Dac 2 or 3 which is far more professional and rackmountable. It really is not worth wasting your money on.... YOu can pick up a good used Dac 2 or DMC 1 for around the smae amoount of money that this is and you'd be far better off.
