Saw these at BPM and they have played on my mind a fair bit since. I don't foresee myself buying any, but I found them to be very interesting.

I was wondering when someone was going to bring out something a bit different to everything else. I'm not sure how you'd get a good effect without having multiple units though, and at £900+ per unit....

There's always a drawback, isn't there? On the basis that as Julian says, it needs multiple units for best effect, in my opinion it's more suited to installation than mobile work.

They look like they'd be good for big live concerts in multiples. Very impressive but way too expensive for mobile jocks.

Likey very much! But, as has been said, they've got a premium price and a single unit or even two isn't going to fill a venue. In that video there are at least 7 units being used together (I'm too tired to count them all!) and that gives a good effect. I think, for mobile jocks, there are better-suited effects out there not least the new Martin Wizard Rush.

Looks like the American DJ Group have a version of the Elation Sniper coming out soon in the form of the ADJ Ricochet (https://www.djkit.com/american-dj/american-dj-ricochet.html), which DJKit will be selling at a much more reasonable £229.

So, does this change people's minds as to whether they may consider it (or 'them', more likely) as part of their setups?
