Hi,
A local WMC which I do regular work for, has asked if I could do a clubland night, "stuff like Clubland bounce, classix, smashed. 80's stuff is best"
Unfortunately, I don't have much knowledge in this area as I've never been asked for this before, and not something that I was into in my teenage years either.
It's always good to try something new, so I'm trying to do some research and find out what to play.
I would be grateful if someone could give me examples of relevant tracks, so I can look at building up a half decent play list.
Many thanks.

Great fun. ;) Never drop below 128 BPM all night, take the bass bins, and leave your mic at home. Simples. :D
Now I'm far from being an authority on this, but the titles you've been given will point you in the reight direction. If I remember aright, Classix is a triple album, as the name suggests of Classics. Bounce is an even faster style, Blackout Crew-Put a Donk on it being one I get asked for. I'm not sure about 80's, personally, I'd have said 90's/noughties, but what do I know?
There is a series of Clubland CD's, have a bash on Spotify, and see what floats your boat.
A few artists I'd be looking at:
Flip and Fill, Basshunter, Milk Inc, Livin' Joy, Reel 2 Reel, Phats and Small, MC Sar, JX, Strike, Oceanic, Micky Modelle, Cascada, Scooter, and Avicii.
Many of those had chart sucess, and a huge amount of those will appear on Now albums. I'm sure others will be along with better advice soon. Surprising as it may seem, I really love playing that sort of thing, although unsurprisingly, I lean towards the chart side of it. Hope this helps. Spotify and Amazon/iTunes will help you so much.

You won't be able to go far wrong by looking at stuff from Tidy Trax for bounce & .Scouse House' but to be honest late 80s into 93,or so was more about rave & house than the styles mentioned as far as I know. Back then add I recall the only stuff higher than 135bpm tended to be breakbeat or jungle.
Personally bounce / hardcore etc are like nails down a blackboard to me. It's all those silly pitched up vocals. Ugh.
As for leaving your Mic at home... Do not! Somebody's bound to wanna be MC.

See also Lisa Lashes, Tony De Vit (To The Limit) & Lisa Pin-up, Amen UK (Passion), Porn Kings (loved their 'Up to no good' - used to drop that one all the time when I worked a club in the 90s).. not forgetting most of the Nukleuz label output.
You might also want to try a live mashup or two, too .. though I have to confess I only did this to take the p*** out of the style - doing something like dropping '500 miles' by The Proclaimers over the top at a suitable point (you might need 20% pitch range for this to work though, and being able to loop the background will be handy too). Unfortunately for me, this had the opposite effect of what I intended & it brought the ceiling down. Totally served me right!
Start practising your spinbacks & deckstops now :D
