Ladeeees and gennnelmen......
It's the first official "birthday" of my disco business :)
This time last year, I sat wondering how the hell I was going to pay for the kit that I'd purchased from savings (and even more scary....justify it to the missus!)
Thankfully, it's worked and bookings are now flooding in for 2015....I'm a very happy bunny :)
It's been a roller coaster of a ride as I'm sure you can appreciate. I last did this in the 80's/90's where the "needle" (remember those?) skipped when the dance floor got busy. I've learned many lessons and made many mistakes (some of them expensive) along the way.... but now believe I've got what I do off to a fine art (although still learning with every gig I do)
It's been a bloody hard ride, with LOTS of mistakes made along the way. The disco may well become my only source of income in 2015 (but that's another very long story)...I'm now working on making it a lot busier.
In my first year back , I've done 48 gigs (I'm chuffed). I've got just under that booked already for 2015 (so the marketing's working and I'm hopefully in for a bumper year in 2015)...here's to a bumper 2015! :)...add to this I've doubled my prices :daft:
My thanks goes out to all those who have helped me on here along the journey (I won't name names...you know who you are!). Raising a rather large glass to my business for 2015 and beyond.....
