As you know , my pair of chavuet obsession 2`s have failed , well the mirror dish motor on both failed.
So looking for some replacement`s, I have looked at the Cheeters , but TBH the price is far to much for what you get , after all, I do gigs up to 100 people , plus they are not a bright as they make out.
I prefer LED mainly because of the weight , so what is a good bet these days, a lot of the manufactures seem to bring out a new light , and 4 weeks later it`s discontinued .....:daft:, also I prefer gobo flowers to dots.
Your input is welcomed

cheers

I have a pair of cheetahs and love them to bits. I think they're brighter than my aging EFX500s. I did of course buy them secondhand, as £600 a pair is indeed steep.

This (http://www.djdeals.co.uk/prod-details.asp?AID=4012&gclid=CN-6k_X1p8QCFe7MtAodLkgAHw) is a very good price for what are in effect 25w Cheetahs. I've seen them in the flesh, and would have had a pair, except I got secondhand cheetahs for around the price that the spins were then.

If you aren't totally committed to moonflowers, Dave Jackson has a pair of Samurai at a price which upsets me daily. It upsets me because I don't have that much spare cash, or they'd be in my shed already. ;)

Nothing else springs to mind, sorry.
