I have done a couple of house parties over the years where the space has been so limited that I have had to set up the disco in a small separate room and run the lights and speakers in the dancing room. Every so often me or my roadie would go and have a look to see how the audience were doing. You still get the requests and comments and interaction with the audience but no instant visible indicators. Its a bit like doing radio really. It seems a bit strange in a disco setting but if you are good then you'll manage.

So i said what about it i set-up in the store room at the end of the hall "Ok no problem" had a feild day in my wee room lol there was trampolines , footballs etc lol i had more fun than the kids :D :D
