Darryl, loads of people are doing these to hire now. Shouldn't be hard to find somebody in your area willing to do a deal.

My gaffer's brother has got into the business of making them & hiring them out - reckons it's where the money is, not discos. Meh.

I'm sure that there are repected forum members here who could assist you in some way in terms of hiring.

But if you want to buy some so you can upsell for future gigs, I can only think of Grumpy Joes.

Don't buy them!

Every man and their dog has got them now, some doing silly prices due to the competition and even outnumber photographers at wedding fayres for 2015.

If you have a quick look on a local wedding facebook group no doubt you'll see them from DJs/chair cover companies etc...

I'm of the same opinion, 18mts ago I did a detailed evaluation and came to the same conclusion, they're not a great investment. Personally I think they are a bit tacky and will soon go in the same direction as sweet carts and chocolate fountains. IMO you should be able to 'Dry Hire' some around £100 - £150 and put them out for £200 or so.
