Hello you funky people,
I've got loads of kit I need to shift out of my unit to make space. It's daftly rammed in there and it's getting to the stage that I'm constantly shifting things rather than working!
So let's start with these...
A set of 4 Coemar Prospot 250LX moving heads. These are not in great condition but were fully serviced maybe 18 months ago before putting them back on the shelf where they've sat buried behind other things ever since.
They were ex-install when I got them, I think all 4 have got blue arm and head covers (although thinking about it maybe 1 has the original black/grey head covers - I'll check if someone's genuinely interested). I'd suggest giving them a quick respray in whatever colour you want. Then you can have the only gold and purple striped moving lights in your area! They've got quite a few scratches on them! Obviously no flightcases.
I gave them all a good strip, clean, service and rebuild. These have not just had the dust blown out of them. That said, they're ex-install and I'm giving no warranty with them. All 4 are lamped but I think they're old ones. I'll check them over again once someone says they want them and will give you a full demo.
They're similar to most older 250w discharge moving heads with shutter/dimmer, colour wheel, rotating gobos, rotating prism and remote focus. I own about 12 more of these (not blue!) that still get used fairly regularly and although they're relatively old technology they still impress the clients! You will of course need a DMX controller of some sort to run them.
Remembering these were something like £1000 each new, I'm asking just 'around' £600 for all 4 for a quick sale.
Collection by arrangement from central Hampshire. I do travel around occasionally and have relatives scattered around the country so there's just the vague possibility I might be able to deliver them to you (ask first!) but I'm not prepared to package and ship these - it would simply be too much effort.
So in other words here are 4 heads that would give a good intro to the world of professional lighting and look way better than LED dots! They're old, but good kit.
Oh, and I'm considering selling some of the other Coemars that I've got too if you want more!
I can take photos if you're genuinely interested but it's going to take a bit of effort to get to the actual lights which is why I've not included any yet!
