Hello to everyone on this fine day.

I have been a DJ since I was 14 when I got my first set of Soundlab belt drive turntables (Bedroom DJ) and I refer to them days as the good old days. I went on to mix on radio stations and some clubs and started doing some disco's for friends and family I then started doing mobile discos and had regular booking from local pubs/clubs etc and then I had kids and decided i need some time out but started doing it again So here I am to pick up some intel on the current situation for mobile disco's

Best Regards,

We disagree about the exact era of " The Good Old Days ", but hey ho. :) Good to have you here.

Welcome aboard!

When I first started I used to dream of owning something as technical as Soundlab turntables. My first decks were BSR direct drive, non-varispeed.. and they only just had the centre stacking pole removed cos they came out of two radiograms

I did eventually move onto Soundlab DLP3 turntables though - and had to modify them to remove the pitch lock microswitches - cos the pitch controls weren't centred on zero :D
