New Speaker System

Hi guys,

for 2007 im looking to upgrade our main speaker system to something a little more classy!

The amp we have is the Warrior KT-1000

Don't really want to replace it

The speakers i currently use are 2x Skytec "300 Watt" cabs, and 2x Skytec "300 Watt" bass bins.

I've been looking at the Mackie c300z

but a few questions

1) Will these speakers suite the amp?

2) Will they be louder or quiter than my current system

3) Is there any others you can recommend?

Well you will be replacing 4 speakers with 2 speakers (unless you are looking at matching subs), so expect to lose a bit of volume and bass.

However, you will notice an improvement in sound quality.

The amp will work fine with those boxes, although you could do with a bit more power, as you will be hitting 'clip' before getting the most out of the speakers.
