Hi all

I bought myself a new flight case for my DJM-750 mixer ive only had it about a month and bought it because i can connect via usb and it syncs with virtual dj responding to the controls on my laptop screen.

So eager to put it into its new flight case bought that day i went to get it when i arrived home!

Guess what cant find it anywhere checked everywhere in the house checked van, asked the mrs if she had put it anywhere but nowhere to be found i start to panic feel sick scratch my but still no mixer.

I have no idea where it is maybe i left it at the venue phoned them went back to the venue still no joy.

So i checked my insurance and i dont seem to be covered as it wasnt left in a locked secure room or i cant prove aggravated entry into where it was.

So im absolutely beside myself, has anyone had any experiance with a claim where they have no actual idea as to where an item went?

Sorry, I'm not clear from your post. Did you lose the mixer, or the flight case?

I've been lucky to date (touch wood). I've never had anything lost or stolen so I've never had to claim on my insurance. There have been quite a few times though where I've thought I've lost something or left it at a venue, only for it to turn up a few weeks later after I've cleared up or gone looking for something else. Personally I put this down as a hazard of the job as I tend to unload when I get home after gigs, and I'm not exactly at my most alert when I do this!

Thanks Dj Jules

It was the mixer i lost £819 worth!

I have a spare van so tend to leave my stuff in it over the weekend and empty sunday,i do reverse it upto a wall and park my car infront of it.

But i think you are right i think i have to just take this on the chin however hard this may be its just hard going back to a standard DJM250 when the DJM750 was such a fantastic mixer.

Another thing i think i need to do is just buy a mid range controller and leave my CDJs etc at home safe i just like to have them on hand as i load any important (FIRST DANCE ETC) tracks onto USB so i can just hit play on the cdj and i know it will play without any delay.

Thanks Again:thumbs_up:
