Tray mount for speaker stand?

I've just bought an ADJ Bubbletron bubble machine which has a carrying handle on the top so I want to attach a tray of some sort on top of a speaker stand to sit it on. any suggestions?

Don't even touch Novopro - terrible quality and no support! :)
i have bought a few items from them and they have all been tat!

£40 and the ridiculously small clamp fell apart after 3 trips.
