hi all, new to the scene, always been interested in mobile discos/djs recently did a 40th birthday using limited equipment and my laptop with vdj and got some good comments, a couple of thing to learn from..

Little update,

So I've been spending some pennies buying a few things after reading Various threads on here.

I've purchased:
Numark mixtrack pro 3

I like the size of this, being a big guy I like not being cramped around a tiny controller, I'm still waiting for this to turn ups no ha do on experience yet but I'll report back when I do.

Mackie thump 15A

So far I have only purchased one due to money I'll but another when I next get paid.

4foot do deck stand, this I managed to get for next to nothing from a ex do giving up, put it all together and it did feel good standing behind it :)

A couple of LED crystal balls which I'll eventually hang either on the down tube of the t bar or the speaker stands.

I'll be using vdj8 which I've got previous knowledge of from a recent gig I did with borrowed equipment,
I'll be adding in the pro license so I can use my controller as well as content unlimited Sao I have full music access, adding in the karaoke/music video when needed.

For now I think that's all.

Next update when I've had a play with it all
