Hi all,
Looking at getting into supplying these. My wife can make the actual bows easily enough but I need some links to the actual lycra covers if anyone knows of any decent fair priced suppliers.
Cheers

Things you have to think about when doing chair covers-
You shall always get damages back! say 10 for every 100 so up to you if you want to take a deposit for damages?! Standard seems to be £100.00
Make sure you get a good laundry service. I Used about 3 before finding one that was decent.
More than 50 can be back breaking, even for a pretty fit guy like myself. So dont make your prices to low as it is quite a hard job doing 200 chair covers. I would budget 1 hour for every 50 covers with 2 people doing them!
Make sure the client is aware that they or the venue should pack away your chair covers and untie the sash bows. (unless your there that is) Which takes me onto the sash->
to straghten out and tidy 100 sashs bows after being used can take 3- 4 hours. Add this into your prices.
Hope this advise helps and you shall get calls from people telling you they can get them for 99p each- which is a company UK wide who only deliver and collect them and dont put them on! still they shall think putting them on is easy and you should still do them for 99p. Get at least one of these calls per week.

Thanks for the information Scott.
We have all angles covered I think. My wife (wedding dress designer) can knock the sashes out pretty easy enough and is going to do around 150 sashes in probably 5 colours to start off with. We are looking to kick this off in January and one of my residencies has already said they would like us to supply them. As their limit is 120 we have an easyish start as we know with that venue it will be the maximum.
My wife also has a regular dry cleaner / laundry / cleaner whatever you want to call it.

The last wedding I was at had chair covers.
That was the first time I had seen them used.
Weddings just seem to get bigger and more complex (and more expensive) as time goes on.
I found it was 15 minutes to get married and 2 years to divorce her !
