I just wanna post this because I played a halloween night on Saturday to an absolutely resounding success... please bear in mind this is the first halloween I did (at least since the late 70s or early 80s) as I only started back DJing last November
In a great part due to the excellent advice and superlative playlists recommended on here, and I will not deny partly due my own growing confidence and abilities because I do realise I had something to do with it..... but I have to say this is one of the most successful gigs I have ever played - even to the point the venue owners are now seriously negotiaiting with me for new year 31st Dec 2016!!! And that is the honest truth.
And I never played this venue before!
I know it possibly sounds contrived and even possibly 'smug' but the above is true and I honestly can't say more than thank you, thank you, thank you, to all of you :o
