I've been asked to give away some bottles of wine at a hotel's corporate christmas parties this year. Ideas for something really easy that won't interfere too much with getting on with the music. I usually ask for first man up with a ladies handbag, then first lady with a man's tie, then man with a ladies shoe, then lady with a pair of man's trousers. They bring these items up to claim their prize.
I can do this while playing music so doesn't slow things up too much while I'm trying to get them up on the floor after dinner.
Trouble is I've done this a few times so looking for fresh ideas please.

The numbers game might work. You stop the music, call a number, and they get into groups of that number, or they're out. Eventually, you end up with three, and call the number two. You add the rider that half the duo has to be the DJ. Sometimes, the penny takes a long while to drop. ;)

Since it's a corporate do, the heads and tails game is an easy one to do and generally goes down quite well. Do it straight after dinner, takes less than five minutes and then you can go back to doing your proper job.

Heads and tails game?
Everybody stands up. They put their hands on their heads, or their " tails ". A coin is spun, and those who don't match sit down. After a few spins, you'll have a winner.

We do heads and tails every year. £1 a go and it raises funds for a guide dog for the blind. Got over £1,500 last year.

My personal favourite is what I like to call the email harvesting game.
Supply pens and paper, write your name email down I'll collect and draw a random winner at the end... But wait everybody wins a special promotional email from me the next day!
I like the Heads or tails game
Stand up Bingo is also quite good
If its a large group I number the tables and get them to stand and sing their particular day of 12 days of christmas
Usually better if they have had a few drinks! :beer1:

I've done the heads and tails thing a couple of times in the past. It's easy, it's fun and as someone else said, at a £1.00 each with it going to charity it's for a good cause.
