My name is Matt Crusselle. I live in Atlanta Ga. I just purchased a Cortex HDC 3000 and need the database creation file. I owned a HDC 1000 a few years ago but sold it. I just use my stuff for small parties with friends and such. But I have a hard drive with 60,000 songs on it. I liked the way you can access music with these Cortex units but I can't find the software anywhere anymore. There is a member that said to pm him and he would forward the file to your email. I would be really appreciative if I were to be able to get the file from that member. His username is Creature. Thanks for any and all help. Matt

Hi Matt, and welcome to the forum. :welcome1:
I was the one who originally tracked down the software for Creature (I think it was for Creature, anyway!). It was buried deep in the archives of the manufacturers' website if I remember correctly.
I'll try and find it out when I get a chance and send to a PM. It'll be late on tonight at the very earliest, mind (11pm UK time). If I can't find it, I'll drop Creature a note to see if he can oblige. :)

I've just tried the links as I need a database manager myself, but they no longer appear to be working. I've emailed Gemini support, if they get back to me with any useful info I'll post it on here.

There have been a number of people asking for the Database Manager and I can see my links no longer work (even though the Gemini website links are still there). I've found a link to retired/legacy products which include Cortex and you can find out more here:
Cortex Thread (http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showthread.php?43008-CORTEX-SOFTWARE&p=651200&viewfull=1#post651200)
You can also download Cortex Database Manager 2.0 directly from the link on that thread.
