Smilies is a generic term (plural of smiley apparently, altough I would have said smilie could be singular or plural) used for any small icon (or emoticon) designed to show an emotion or other message Wikipedia Smilies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smilies) :)

yes david bowie is quite capable of murdering his own songs thank you very much without the help of some wannabe !!! incidently david bowie is the only straight guy i know of married to aman lmao:D :D

however the footage of him and bing crosby singing drummer boy will forever be in my top ten tv funny moments.
