Anyone modded their DDJ SX flightcase?

Has anyone here modded their DDJ-SX flightcase so it has powercon and XLR on the case etc?

I am looking to do mine . I have the older swan case and just want a plug and play setup (not inc laptop etc).

First thing i did was look at the room at the back of the flight case.
There is room to fit a 4 slim 4 bar and xlr's etc etc.

The only problem I can see then is making sure your connections are tucked away from being pulled out / off & ensuring nothing can touch the terminals of the Powercon. A rubber boot or some heat-shrink should solve the latter, but as there are no rack rails on the case, putting in a blanking plate or door might prove difficult, unless you want to attach a couple of small sections of rack strip at the rear of the case (that said, I don't know how wide the case is, so that might not be feasible)

How are your soldering skills? You might find the feed through sockets I used easier for your XLR connections. Also another thing to consider is dust caps over the sockets, if they're going to be on the outside of the case, they will be exposed to the elements.

1) Do you need four sockets? Using a single or double socket might save space.
2) Did you know that you can also bring the USB socket into the panel?
3) Same goes for phono sockets. There are ones which go singly into the larger round holes used for XLRs and the like.

My soldering skills do not exist.I tried years ago for simple stuff and simply could not get to grips.
I saw a video on youtube of a guy doing a similar thing as i want and he indeed had the covers on all the sockets.

The four bar socket was just for illustration. I only need a two bar socket as one for laptop and a spare.

I wont be using the phonos but i guess at least one could future proof.
USB i won't want done .The laptop is so close i wont feel the need.

If I were you I'd still do the USB if only because a feedthrough connector will save wear & tear on the SX's port. Also known as a sacrificial connector

All parts ordered. Decided to not bother with USB as the front mounted option still needs an actual USB plugged in to the DDJ port. So i will simply leave one connected at all times in the case.

Other than above i bought all the XLR/Powercon front mounts inc the covers to keep it safe from dirt etc etc.

I did add a Mic 1/4 XLR multi jack to the front of the case though. SO 2xXLR, 1X Powercon, 1x MIC and all covers.:)
