It's been a couple of years since the last one, but I'll be a guest at a wedding next Wednesday down in Hastings(ish).

That's right - not a DJ, but a guest. All those things that we watch but normally miss out on: drunkenly cheering the bride and groom’s first dance, being first in the queue for evening food, drinking heartily, dancing really badly, getting very drunk. What's that? I'm the designated driver?

Sigh...never mind. I've had to get myself a new suit as I've lost two stone since the turn of the year, and I love getting a new suit. It has to be said that suited and booted, I look the knees of the bee and I'm sure that they'll be some single bridesmaids requiring some attention. What? Mrs. Benny is coming too?

Well the weather was lovely, the venue was fantastic and I had tremendous fun playing the whooping idiot. Yeah, baby!

No real tales to tell. Having lost two stone so far this year, I got a new suit and I looked very dapper in it (even if I do say so myself!). Met some great people at the wedding who were as completely inappropriate as I am, so we were obviously the troublesome group. :approve:

So does this mean that somewhere a DJ is collecting his thoughts to post about a troublesome group who included somebody claiming to also be a DJ?

Pardon? Freely admit to people that I'm a DJ? Not a chance! I tell everyone that I clean toilets for a living.
