OK, my other thread about musical epiphanies has got me thinking (and wasting too much time Youtubing, Spotifying and Amazoning!) about tracks that you love but hadn't realised were so old.

For starters I'm thinking Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy, Hey Girl. How has that managed to become 17 years old so quickly! There's no way that 17 years have gone by since I saw them perform it live at Homelands when it was brand new. But history tells me that it's so.

I've got a cracker of a playlist for a wedding this Friday which features The Happy Clappers - I Believe among others. That was one I picked up on white label during my time as a parochial club DJ. In 1994. 22 years ago!!!! I wonder if I'll get away with Rockin For Myself by Motiv8 too :D

I'm sure plenty other folks here have had shocking revelations too.

Yep, the one that scared me recently was when I played Leftfield's Leftism album which still sounds incredibly fresh to me and found out that's already 21 years old.

It's amazing how many great tracks are now well over 40 years old.
