Hi all,
I just had a booking confirmed that has put a huge grin on my chops!
I had to turn down the same booking last year because I had no availability due to a mega busy Christmas period.
It's funny actually because I was going to post earlier today that for the first time in more years than I can remember, I was looking forward to a relatively quiet Christmas period for once and was going to cherry pick the bookings I want to do. I've been doing exactly that since the move and have found that I enjoy the bookings much more and have a new found enthusiasm for the job because I am not doing it week in, week out.
Being a big 80's fan too, this booking is right up my street!
1st, 2nd & 3rd December - Electric Dreams at Butlins in Bognor Regis.
Some of the bands playing are favourites of mine too which is a bonus - The Human League, A Flock Of Seagulls, Howard Jones, China Crisis, Thomas Dolby etc...
Even better, I only have to take my playout system and back up and I get accomodation and freebies.............and it's a good earner too!
As I said, it could possibly (more than likely) be my favourite booking ever!
