The EFX700 seems an awful lot of money for a flower effect.

I have 2 of the original Wizards and they are superb units. Just make sure you keep them clean with good lamps and they will wipe the floor with most other effects.

Never used one, which is why I didn't comment.

I have got an EFX500 which is quite a room filler.

I think they retail from around the £320 mark.

The effect is a barrel, and has 3 sets of gobos, so is on the floor and ceiling at the same time if you see what I mean.

If you did want to use it, I would say that a couple of colour changers or flower effects would go well with it.

Thanks very much Daz

I know its a silly question, but I once saw a girl singer in a very large room with a Martin Extreme at the back of the stage and on the floor

Could this be used the same way so as to project beams of light on the ceiling and dance floor:)

Are you trying to go minimalist and just use the one effect Colin?
