aka www.discostudio.co.uk ?
I've not used them before, but late on 5th Nov I ordered a mid-range laser from them (online) and just at the checkout stage I got a SQL processing error. So first thing next morning I called, spoke to their general manager, and was told that the order was received OK and would be processed and shipped same day.
So on 12th Nov, not having received the laser (and having one unhappy customer over the preceding weekend) I chased it up and was promised a call back.
On 16th Nov, I was getting mighty upset so rang and spoke to the general manager again, and was fed some lame excuse about not having enough in stock to satisfy the number of orders and I wasn't the only person they'd let down. Instead I was offered an alternative deal which I accepted on the understanding it would be shipped priority next-day (ie Yesterday) to me.
Guess what? Yup. No laser. :bang:
So ... is this worth pursuing or should I pull the plug right now, call a credit card chargeback and refuse any shipments that do arrive ... or are this outfit worth sticking with?

Well I received my goods today... eventually.
So that's 17 days from placing the order (with next-day delivery quoted) to receiving my goods. At least 5 phone calls, umpteen emails and two dodgy excuses. Not good.

In the circumstances, I hope you're going to write to them asking for a partial refund towards your time & expense making the phone calls & also because they did not come close to providing the service stated (next day delivery).

I know a few people that have had issues with them and it seems their customer service is second to everyone...
Personally i'd never buy from them after experiences i've heard from previous clients... but who knows they might have been in the minority... but then would you really want to risk it where there are many companies out there with a proven great record.
