HI thinking of adding credit and debit payment availability to clients, not through website but using one of those card merchant things that has its own sim through 3g and ability to accept payments.
there are a few about and the one ive looked at recently offers a reader for 80 quid and 1.69% fee on each transaction.
I expect lots of you are using something like this so was after some advice on one of the good ones?
thanks

Would you actually use a card reader ?

I accept card payments but the card reader is still in it's box.

The search facility is a wonderful thing. (http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showthread.php?44043-Customer-wants-to-pay-by-credit-card&highlight=credit+card+payments) :)

Also , it helps if you remember that you were involved in the discussion, having indirectly instigated it. :D

I can't see that Haydn was involved in that thread? Am I missing something?

Let me try again. " It helps if one ( ie, me ) remembers that one ( ie me ) was involved........." which is why I remembered the thread. I must now apologise for " Doing a Toby " by not reading the initial post properly, and realising it asks for a card reader. :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

Wish I'd never bothered, now. :(

Apologies

It was a direct reply to a question, not trying to cash in. I've never used it before.
