Wireless Mic frequency

Does anyone know of a reason to not purchase a wireless mic which uses the digital frequency 2.4 GHz, or has any thoughts on this?

Yep. Thousands of good reasons. All of those reasons are the other users of the 2.4GHz band. Bluetooth, wifi, zigbee, microwave ovens, wireless phones, wireless DMX adapters & literally anything else using this unlicensed ISM band..
