Another newbie

Hi All

I have just found your site. I have been mobiling for oooh lets see? many years. Nice to meet many of my fellow brothers in arms (playing the same old stuff we all love to play (and hear time and time again) for our appreciative brides and grooms and their lovely families!! :rolleyes: )

Have just decided to go the digital route and am having a nightmare getting Traktor 3 talking to the behringer BCD2000. Not sure if I've made a great decision with the behringer but, we'll see? (before I bought it, I read nothing but, good reviews about it and now all I read is DJ's knocking it) Bought an external USB soundcard too as I read the behringer sound wasn't the greatest but cannot get that working for the life of me with the behringer and B-DJ and haven't even tried yet with Traktor (as I can't get it working full stop)

Also looking to upgrade some of my kit soon especially subs and probably my amp that runs the subs too

Anyways nice to meet you all...lots to read

i had similar probs with soundcard recognition, but i use pcdj red, and cant offer any advice on Traktor 3, but im sure somebody will, welcome aboard !!

There are a few Traktor users on here, I know, plus quite a few other digital DJs .... so someone may be able to offer some advice!

Ahem...no doubt I will be asking questions about this BCD2000 and getting the darned thing to work with traktor shortly (so be prepared cause I am totally lost!!!)

I have asked on the traktor forums and the B-DJ forums and for the most part been totally ignored, I get the feeling I am sooo thick that no-ones of low enough intelligence to understand what the heck I'm harping on about(sheesh!)

is traxtor 3 the latest release out if so ive read elsewhere this has been nothing but problems which put me off buying it... if anyone uses it id be dead interested in some feedback here..

I use Traktor, unfortunately I can't be of any help on your Behringer, never used one. Surprised though you've not had any help on the T forums I've always had great success there.

yes I bought Traktor 3 but as I haven't got it working yet can't tell you how good or bad it is.

I have had some response on Traktor forums...one from a nice guy called of all things cykokraut who has written some "midi rules" to get the thing working but, you need to be a NASA scientist to understand what to do and you have to go into DOS which is like waaaay scary to plug and play types like me.

I have asked further questions as I am stuck but, no-one seems to understand or relate to my problems (or maybe they are just laughing and making me sweat by not answering?)
