I need some help with the above.

As suggested by the title tracks from the last 2 years that are popular with that age group.

All help greatly appreciated.

Endor – Pump It Up
Riton x Nightcrawlers – Friday
Harry Styles – Watermelon Sugar
Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande – Rain on Me
Elton John & Dua Lipa – Cold Heart
Ed Sheeran – Bad Habits
Jonasu - Black Magic

Thanks, I'm happy to say I at least have all of those (thanks Pool). I don't think I'll need too many, as it's a Grease themed party, so a fair portion of the time will involve songs from the soundtrack & I tend to use specific tracks for any games we do.

I just haven't done anything for this age range for about 10 years (in fact, I haven't done much other than weddings & Steampunk festivals in that time) & I doubt the stuff that was popular with them then will be now

Steve, I know where you're coming from. There was a time when 13year old parties were the easiest gigs in the world. Just shovel on the current charts, and the odd classic to excited little faces.

Then everyone became " too cool for school ", asked for Justin's beloved " mumble rap " while staring at phones, and I started not to quote for these gigs as a result.

As you can guess, I can't give you many pointers, sorry. :(

Oddly though in a lot of cases with younger gigs I think the tables have turned. As with 21sts, 18ths & school proms it seems to be the 'classics' they want, not the stuff they request. Mind saying that, they do often request much older stuff & the fact Steve's gig is grease themed seems to indicate at least a contingent will be born to hand jive

I think if you keep on top of the tik tok charts as well you should be fine.

You never know how these will turn out. Playing stuff that barely qualifies as music most of the night you've never heard of, the classics or somewhere in the middle.

At least it's only 2 hours.

Using it as an "in" at the venue (Owner's daughter's birthday)

You're a much braver man than me Steve! I leave them once they reach 10 years old and don't come back to them until they get married.

Got to admit though....some of the requests even at the age groups I do can be "surprising".

Side note.....did you put gears on it? ;)
