Just curious, those of you that use moving heads, what are you using, pros & cons. I'm still using a pair of iSolution 250s movers. I purchased them in 2006, and apart from replacing the lamps once they still look and perform great. Downside, the weight (around 24kg each). I'd like something a little less heavy. I've bought a few different moving heads since then but always go back to the 250s as they out-perform anything else I've bought.

Last week I took the plunge and bought a pair of Equinox Fusion Zoom Spot 200s. I saw them at a DJ meet recently (just on sound to light mode) and they looked great. Once delivered and hooked up to DMX my enthusiasm and excitement soon disappeared for many reasons. I'll be returning them over the next few days

So....back to the drawing board. What Moving heads do you use? Pro's & Cons? I'm looking for inspiration.

I have a pair of the Equinox Fusion 100 spot and a pair of the IMG Stageline MINIZOOM-712.

I desperately miss my pair of Chauvet Intimidator Barrel 305 and Chauvet Intimidator Trio... but I don't miss lugging them about and setting them up.

The lights I currently have are super light and really quick to get set up. For me, ease of setup has become more of a priority - because to the punter, the outcome from both of my previous and current setup is effectively the same!

Another one for the Fusion 100. I have them on the deckstand front shelf and are pretty good for smaller venues.

I still feel the need for a gravity stand to have a light constantly on the dancefloor though. I'd love to be happy with just two movers with a wide beam that's easy to control but not really found anything I like yet.

I'm still using my Chauvet Intimidator Spot 400s. I bought them back in 2014, and I still love them to this day.

I'm waiting for a moving head spot to not have a colour wheel before I upgrade. This is something that actually really piddles me off at the moment in that we can have colour mixing in washes (via RGBW LEDs, for example), but in 2022, the spots still use a colour wheel.
