Who uses Glow sticks? When and what type of party do you use them? Do you give them out or sell them?

We don't use them, I've considered it, and never really bothered to buy any.

I'm sorta the same as Will, I have visions of them lying all over the place afterwards, including outdoors

We use them at schools and some times private functions if there is kids about.
The schools buy them off us £10 for 100 cost us £8.99 to buy from www.glowsticks.co.uk.
Most of the time yes they are lying everywhere lol but its the 6th years that clean the hall after the disco so we dont care lol.

Fantastic things glow sticks.
Personally would feel very greedy trying to sell them, so just give them away - helps with your reputation as well - now starting to use inflatable guitars and other such things - again given away free. Works wonders!

I buy them (well, the bracelets not the sticks) to just give away at kids parties. Last time i bought them i for 400 for £20 so no need to sell them really.

Regent Road, Great Yarmouth! 99p a shot....
but I also bought a few bits from ebay, infatable sax's, bananas and microphone.
Saying that I was rather tempted by the 7 foot Budwiser bottles - one either side of my rig?

Yeah, I'm not so much concerned as to who clears the mess up, I wouldn't mind doing it myself if need be - it's just I would feel responsible for it!
Also, the venue staff will likely know it was me that handed them out, and I'm sure they wouldn't be chuffed about it! And any mobile DJ will tell you how very important it is to have the staff working with you, not agains't you! ;)

Yeah and remember the postage costs they wont reduce for large sales. Its their way of getting out of ebay fees.

Those glowsticks look a good price I'll have to get some...kool... thanks
I use blow up guitars a lot they go down very well
Had a couple of typical irritating teenage girls being generally rather annoying at a recent wedding "can we look through your Cds"? "have you got blah blah"? but being smartass with it...
Quickly thrust a blow up guitar in each of their hands and had the audience cheering for who they thought was the best air guitar-ist for the next song !!(he-he!)
They were like startled rabbits caught in headlights...they never came back again
1 - 0 to the DJ :)

Always carry glo-sticks, inflatable guitars and saxaphones, marrachas and tambourine.
The glo-sticks go down at adult do's more than kids ones! .... and younger men are worse than the girls for them.
Musical instruments are great for inter-active events. You just have to see the wanna-be Mick Jagger with a tambourine, prancing around.

We use glowsticks all the time. Especially in the theatre district where there is a lot of bar hopping. Word soon spreads when you give out somat for free and they all come running to your venue then all you have t do is keep them in. We also have dress up gear, inflatables and boas and we try to create a party atmosphere. Found that the blokes prefer the Boas!!!!! Try http://kaiiak321.com/_wsn/page2.html for glow stuff he has always done us proud.

I use glo-sticks on ocassion and couldn't bring myself to sell them.
I'd feel like a market trader, not a DJ.
